Why does it take a 9/11 tragedy to make us forget the petty squabbles that separate us? As I ponder the sacrifices made by those who fought for our freedoms, on this Memorial Day weekend I consider that perhaps there is more that makes us alike than that which separates us. Can\’t we all try a little more understanding? What are your thoughts?
