These are strange times. How are you holding up?

We are collectively living through an unprecedented time in our lives. The threat of Coronavirus is touching us all one way or another.

Whether you\’ve been personally touched by losing someone close to you or your life has been turned upside-down by having to be self-quarantined, we\’re all in this together.

They say there are only two things certain in life… death and taxes.

Some people work really hard to avoid taxes (and I do NOT endorse that notion!), but avoiding death has not yet been proven to be doable.

But I guess if there\’s one thing I can say with absolute certainty, it\’s that nothing is certain in life.

There are so many things beyond our control.

But there are so many things that are IN your control!

Whether this is a minor inconvenience or incredibly devastating to you or your business, you still get to decide how to manage your actions and your emotions.

You have the power to be resilient. To be strong. To be resourceful. To be thoughtful, kind and loving to others.

You have the power to control your thoughts. To not be swept up in hysteria, but to be well-informed and make rational decisions that will ultimately benefit you, your loved ones, your community and your business.

Once you realize how much power you DO have to manage your actions and emotions, you can begin to see opportunity where none existed before.

That will look different for everyone. But pivoting in business and in life is something we often must do in order to enter the next chapter of our story.

Be open. Be wise. Be alert.

And realize that this too shall indeed pass.
