Not Another Event!

I recently received a blog comment from someone telling me that I should stop encouraging people to go to live events because they didn\’t really learn anything useful and that they were only beneficial for people in the \”circle\”.

That\’s the biggest load of Barbara Streisand I\’ve ever heard. (figure it out, ok?)

I will continue to relentless and feverishly beat the drum for attending live events, be they workshops, conferences, seminars or masterminds, without hesitation.

There\’s a reason for that.

Attending live events for educational and networking purposes is a foundational and instrumental part of any successful business.

I understand that there are some people who are homebound and are unable to attend live events. I am sorry for those circumstances and I would encourage you to take advantage of the opportunities afforded by modern technology, such as Google Hangouts and webinars.

But for everyone else, I\’m going to be brutally frank… or frankly brutal.

I sincerely and honestly believe with every fiber of my being that attending a live event can help take your business to the next level.

It\’s where accelerated learning takes place.

It\’s where networking gets an infusion of steroids.

It\’s where joint ventures are born.

It\’s where the seeds of life-changing, earth-moving, monumental shifts in your business are sown.

It\’s been true for me and in the lives of so many people that I know. So there. I think I\’ve made my point, yes?

That\’s why I am going to recommend another event to you right now.

If you are a published author or if you WANT to be a published author, I am going to recommend that you attend Author 101 University on October 24-27, 2013 in Las Vegas.

\"author101\"

I am NOT speaking at this event, but I am attending this event.

Why?

Because of everything I have told you above.

1) I\’m a published author and I intend on writing more books.

2) I want to learn more about what\’s working now because I want to sell MORE books.

3) I want to network with others because you never know who you will encounter that could become the perfect affiliate, joint venture partner, or even better… friend.

The event is put on by Rick Frishman, a man who was instrumental in the creation and publishing of The Chicken Soup for the Soul Series, one of the best-selling book franchises of all time!

there are a host of other speakers that will be there, including Brendan Burchard, Tom Antion and my publisher, David Hancock.

Plus, if you register now using this link, you can get two tickets for the price of one!

Las Vegas is the place to be October 24-27 if you are serious about your books. I\’ll look forward to seeing you there!
