Ok, so it\’s February 18th. But the snow is blanketing the ground in the Oklahoma City area and it finally feels just a little bit like Christmas. Well, winter at least.
Just two days we were enjoying temperatures nearing 70 degrees and sunshine. The cold front blew in and the temperature dropped 30 + degrees in a matter of minutes.
Last night, the sleet began. Blankets of ice covered the road.
This morning I awoke to a couple inches of the white stuff.
And they said winter would never come.
Of course, the Punxatawny Phil predicted this. All hail the mighty Groundhog.
Time to get out the tree, deck the halls, etc… eh, maybe not.
Well, one can dream of a White Christmas, can\’t he?
