In an unprecented political maneuver, Senate Democrats invoked \”rule 21\”, overriding the Republican majority and sending the Sentate into a closed door session, purportedly to discuss pre-war intelligence.
Nonsense.
The Democrat leadership is all in a huff because they are becoming less significant with each passing day.
They wanted Karl Rove\’s head. They got \”Scooter\” Libby. And the American people have yawned.
They wanted another liberal activist judge. Bush has nominated a true conservative in the tradition of Scalia and Thomas. The Pro-abortion crowd is trembling in their boots.
This political stunt will backfire, just like everything else the Democrat leadership has tried to do to bring down Bush.
And 2006 will be another Republican landslide.
