In Our Midst makes notation of a very cool life-affirming song and music video by Nick Cannon. I\’m not a huge rap fan. In fact, I would have to say today\’s popular music is pathetic. Nevertheless, if you are going to rap, it is refreshing to hear something other than tough gang-talk and lyrics degrading women.
Anyhow, Can I Live? is Nick\’s ode to his mother for leaving the abortion clinic and not going through with the ending of his life (as she initially intended). It\’s a powerful statement and one that every women who is considering abortion should see.
