I finally took the plunge. I ordered a Delphi MyFi XM2Go portable XM satellite receiver from the Amazon.com marketplace.
First of all, I didn\’t pay the $299 retail price. A marketplace seller had the same unit brand new for $219! I received it within just a few days of ordering and was overwhelmed to see how much stuff is in the box.
I dove in and had the unit up and running on my home stereo in no time. The interface is very intuitive and before I knew it I was saving favorite channel presets and setting up the MyFi to record Glenn Beck on channel 166 at a scheduled time.
The MyFi XM2Go allows you to record up to 5 hours of programming for later listening. It\’s like Tivo for satellite radio!
After examining the XM and Sirius channels and programming, it was a no-brainer for me. So far I am quite pleased with this unit and XM radio. I have not yet set the receiver up in my car, but I will be doing that soon.
